Colton Percell Handrop was born in 1996 in Charleston, South Carolina. His family, a few years later moved to Aiken, South Carolina where he grew up, going to Church, being homeschooled by his grandmother Bubbee and running wild in the woods. His family encouraged his imagination dreaming up imaginary peoples and worlds. He was introduced to Narnia, Middle Earth, Shannara, Eragon and many more. On February 29, 2020 he would marry a girl he had met in youth group, Lydia, who, while not a reader or someone with an interest in the fantastical would continue to push Colton to write even getting onto him if he had a free day and did not write any.
